Registration Groups

Registration Groups are a convenient way to group and view multiple Runners at once. We’ve seen these used to group Runners into their classes, houses, extra-curricular clubs, and many more - it’s a very flexible system, so use it however you choose! Here’s how to get started setting them up:

  1. Click the ‘Manage’ dropdown in the header, and select ‘Registration Groups’.

If you’ve already done a Runner bulk import where you included some information in the Registration Group column of the CSV file, you may already have some here!

  1. To create a new one, click ‘New Registration Group’ in the top right corner of the page 👇

  2. In the resulting form, give the Registration Group a Name, and search and select any Runners you wish to include in the Registration Group (if you’re doing this before importing your Runners, that’s okay, you can leave this field blank for now!). Once you’re ready, click ‘Create Registration Group’ 👇

This might be a little sparse for now, Log a Run to start populating it!

Courses

In order to accurately log the distance your Runners have travelled, we need to know the length of the Course they’re going to run around! Here’s how to add a bank of Courses for you to selected from each time you start a Run:

  1. Click on the ‘Manage’ dropdown in the header, then select ‘Courses’ from the list.

  2. Click the ‘New Course’ button in the top right corner of the page.

  3. In the resulting pop-up window, enter a memorable Name for the Course, optionally enter a Description (e.g. “around the football pitch and playground”), and enter the Distance of one lap around the Course in metres. Once you’re ready, hit ‘Create Course’! 👇
